Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimal Temporary Waste Disposed (TPS) location in Ilir Timur I District by formulating the Covering Based Problem (CBP) model including the Set Covering Location Problem (SCLP), Maximal Covering Location Problem (MCLP), and the p-Center Location Problem and using the Two Stage Robust models. Ilir Timur I District has 31 waste disposal sites spread across 11 villages. The results from the SCLP and MCLP models obtained 17 optimal TPS locations in Ilir Timur I District. Meanwhile, the results from the p-Center Location Problem model and the Two Stage Robust model obtained 11 optimal TPS locations in Ilir Timur I District. Based on the results obtained, this research recommend the Two Stage Robust solution model in determining optimal waste TPS locations, namely TPS Rusunawa Jl. Kasnariansyah, Titik Sampah Sepanjang Jalan Kamboja, TPS Jl. Talang Gerunik, Titik Sampah di Seputaran Lapangan Hatta, TPS 200 Liter Sepanjang Pedestrian Sudirman, Titik Sampah Jalan Tengkuruk Blok A, TPS Jalan Dempo Samping RM Selatan Indah, Titik Sampah Dekat Jembatan Sei Rendang 13 Ilir. This is because the solution from Two Stage Robust can fulfill all demand points in Ilir Timur I District.
