Abstract

DDGS dapat digunakan sebagai sumber energi,protein (asam amino) dan fosfor untuk ternak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari Pengaruh Proporsi Distiller’s Dried Grain With Solubles (DDGS) Jagung Dalam Ransum Terhadap Produksi Gas, Derajat Keasaman (pH), dan Konsentrasi Metana secara In Vitro. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2018 di Laboratorium Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak Program Studi Peternakan, Jurusan Teknologi dan Industri Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sriwijaya. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan model statistik Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 3 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Yang terdiri dari P0 = Rumput Gajah 60% + Konsentrat 40% (Kontrol). P1 “ Rumput Gajah. 60% + Konsentrat 20% + DDGS 20%, P2 Rumput Gajah 40% + Konsentrat 20% + DDGS 40%. Peubah yang diamati meliputi Produksi Gas, Derajat Keasaman (pH), dan Konsentrasi Metana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai produksi gas Tidak Berpengaruh (P>0,05), derajat keasaman (pH) Tidak Berpengaruh (P>0,05) dan konsentrasi metana Berbeda (P<0,05). Perlakuan Komposisi DDGS yang dikombinasikan dengan rumput gajah dan konsentrat komersial tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi gas dan ph, tetapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap penurunan gas metan.
