Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce scientific-based weblog learning media which helps SMK teachers improving student’s learning motivation on Indonesian dynamic role in world peace. The method of this research is developing method with Hannafin and Peck models, and also Tessmer formative evolution. The data analysis technique using documentation technique, walkthrough, questionnaires, and observation technique. Validation of the material counted as a valid with the average of 4.1, for the media validation is 4.2, and for the language validation is 4.3. Furthermore, the practicality of using one-to-one stage is categorized as practical if the average is 4.0, and in small group stage the average of 4.3 is categorized as very practical. On the field test stage, learning media has potential effect to improve student’s learning motivation in 73.8%, included in high category which obtained through observation. The result of this research indicate that the scientific-based weblog learning media declared as valid, practical, and has potential effect to help SMK teachers in order to improve student’s learning motivation on Indonesian dynamic role in world peace.
