Abstract
In general, people can control house lights manually using a switch via cable, and now a light On-Off control system will be made using sound and monitoring electricity usage in lights based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The purpose of this research is to make a prototype of the On-Off lamp control system using voice through Google Assistant and monitoring the electricity consumption of lamps using the PZEM-004T Current Sensor through the Blynk application based on the Internet of Things (IoT). Based on the results of research that has been done on this project, the On-Off light control system using Google Assistant can be controlled with an average signal strength is 103.9 dBm and a maximum control distance of 35-40 meters in the presence of barriers and monitoring electricity consumption using an application Blynk can monitor Electric Power (W) with an average error is 8.9%, Electric Power Per-hour (kWh), Voltage (V) with an average error is 0.4%, and Current (A) with an average error is 38.4%.
