Abstract

This research was motivated by the poor management of Bumi Ayu temple. This can be seen from the lack of attention from the government in addressing management and supervision. The purpose of the study was to find out how the management of the Bumi Ayu temple tourism destination was managed. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, while for data collection techniques using in-depth interview techniques, documentation, and observation. The discussion was directed to find out the actual facts of how the management was carried out. The results of this study indicate that the management of the Bumi Ayu temple tourism destination is not good. This is because only two aspects of management in the theory are good, but all aspects are not implemented properly. Seven aspects of management are: Planning, Organizing, Employee preparation, work coaching, coordination, reporting, budgeting, only the Planning and Organizing aspects are carried out quite well but not maximally by the Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency Culture and Tourism Service.
