Abstract

The utilization of technology in a government institution, specifically at Kejaksaan Negeri Palembang, is crucial in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of staff performance. However, the current system employed to manage the borrowing and returning of criminal case evidence by Public Prosecutors during the trial process still done conventionally. This can result in data collection errors or archiving discrepancies. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, literature study and interviews while the method for developing the system uses the waterfall method. System design is done using UML. The programming language used is PHP Native and MySQL database for data storage. The system is tested using Blackbox testing. The results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the existence of this system can facilitate the recapitulation and borrowing and return activities of evidence carried out by prosecutors and employees of the PB3R staff at the Kejaksaaan Negeri Palembang.
