Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of kinemaster learning media on students' interest in learning economic subjects in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Rambang Kuang. This research is a type of experimental research with a Pre-Experimental Design research design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all students of class XI social studies at SMA Negeri 1 Rambang Kuang. Sample determination using Cluster Sampling technique. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and observation. Data analysis techniques obtained from pretest questionnaire data and posttest questionnaire data and observation data of learning interest during learning using kinemaster media. The hypothesis used the t-test and obtained the results of tcount> ttable, namely (94,096) > ttable (1,714), so Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The coefficient of determination test of the effect of variable X (kinemaster media) on variable Y (interest in learning) is 99,74% while the remaining 0,26% is influenced by other variables. So it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of kinemaster learning media on students' interest in learning economics subjects in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Rambang Kuang.
