Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap minat belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pre eksperimental dalam bentuk one- group pretest-posttest design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Palembang yang berjumlah 118 peserta didik. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Random Sampling dimana sampel yang dipilih adalah kelas XI IPS 2 yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik. Data diperoleh dari 35 butir angket yang sudah valid dan reliabel, serta observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji paired sample t-test, uji korelasi dan uji koefisien determinan dengan uji prasyarat normalitas dan linearitas regresi sederhana. Hasil uji paired t-test menunjukkan bahwa nilai t_hitung<t_tabel yaitu -0,027<1,701 yang artinya H0 ditolak sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap minat belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. Kata Kunci : Discovery learning, Minat Belajar This study aims to prove the effect of the discovery learning model on students' learning interest in economics class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. This research method is an experiment with a pre-experimental research design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Palembang, totaling 118 students. Sampling used the Random Sampling technique where the sample selected was class XI IPS 2, totaling 30 students. Data were obtained from 35 valid and reliable questionnaire items, as well as observation and test. The data analysis technique used is paired sample t-test, correlation test and test of the determinant coefficient with the prerequisite test of normality and simple regression linearity. The results of the paired t-test show that the value of t_count <t_table is -0,027<1.701, which means H0 is rejected so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the discovery learning model on students' learning interest in economics class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Palembang.
