Abstract

This research aims to: (1) calculate and analyze the basic price of pineapple on peat land in Tanjung Serang Village, Kayu Agung Sub District Ogan Komering Ilir Regency; (2) calculate the income of pineapple farmers on peat land in Tanjung Serang Village, Kayu Agung Sub District Ogan Komering Ilir Regency and; (3) analyze factors that affect the basic price of pineapple on peat land in Tanjung Serang Village, Kayu Agung Sub District Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in Tanjung Serang Village, Kayu Agung Sub District of Ogan Komering Ilir on December 2018 to February 2019. Site selection was done purposively. The research method used in this study was Survey Method. This study took 23 samples out of 48 farmers. Data collected in this study consisted of primary and secondary data. The results showed that (1) the average of basic price of pineapple on peat land in Tanjung Serang Village, Kayu Agung Sub District of Ogan Komering Ilir in the three harvest seasons was 305 rupiah/fruit for 2 Ha land area and 251 rupiah/fruit for 4 Ha land area (2) the average income of pineapple farmers on peat land in Tanjung Serang Village, Kayu Agung Sub District of Ogan Komering Ilir was 46.166.199 rupiah for 2 Ha land area and 96.731.332 for 4 Ha land area (3) the factors that significantly affecting the basic price of price of pineapple on peat land in Tanjung Serang Village, Kayu Agung Sub District of Ogan Komering Ilir are the cost of pesticides and the cost of labor wage.
