Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the chemical nutrient content of indigofera pellets. This research was conducted in November in the Animal Nutrition and Food laboratory, Department of Animal Husbandry Technology and Industry, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study uses a Proximate Test Analysis technique which consists of P0 (75% indigofera, 24% bran 1% premix) and also P1 (50% indigofera <49% bran 1% premix). Parameters observed included: crude fat, crude protein, dry matter, and crude fiber. The results of this study showed that indigofera pellets contained a fairly good chemical quality as animal feed. The conclusion of this research is that indigofera pellets have good chemical quality as animal feed.
