Abstract
DEVELOPMENT OF YOUTUBE MEDIA IN LEARNING TO WRITE PROCEDURE TEXT IN CLASS XI SMA NEGERI 2 MUARA ENIM ABSTRACT The objectives of this development research are 1) to describe the analysis results of the needs of students and teachers in Youtube-based learning videos according to teachers and students of class XI at SMA Negeri 2 Muara Enim, 2) to describe the validation results of Youtube-based learning video media in teaching procedural text writing. The ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) was used in this research. However, the researcher only used three models of analysis, design, and development. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, questionnaires, and observations. Indonesian language learning media based on Youtube on procedural text writing material developed have met the valid criteria for use by class XI students at SMA Negeri 2. The material assessment results by the validator obtained 90% with the "very valid" criterion. The media assessment results by expert validators obtained 89,7% with the "valid" criterion. The language assessment results by expert validators obtained 65,6% with the "valid" criterion. Thus, it can be concluded that Youtube-based learning video media in procedural text writing is feasible to use in teaching procedural text writing.
