Abstract

The purpose of this study was to prove the influence of generative learning model by using video media to the learning result of economics subject in State Senior High School No.4 OKU. This study was an experiment research which used pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test. The population of the study was all the tenth social classs in State Senior High School no.4 OKU. The sample of the study used cluster random sampling technique and the chosen sample was the tenth graders of Social Class 1 i.e 34 students. In collecting the data the researcher used test and observation techniques. This research hypothesis used parametris statistic by using t-test. The result showed that t.count value = 36.21 was higher than t.table = 1.51. In short, the hypothesis H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. It can be concluded that there was an influence given by the generative learning model by using video media to the learning result of economic subjects in State Senior High School No 4 OKU. The researcher assumed that applying generative learning models with video media is expected to guide learners who have difficulty in solving the problem of learned concepts
