Abstract

The Research includes planning about altemative foundation that can be used in silo structures on site PT. Sement Baturaja. Altematives that can be used in planning the silo foundation is based on the selection of the type of deep foundation, there are bored pile and and piling foundation. Analysis and calculation of piling foundation carried out in order to compare the type and dimensions of the foundation of the effectiveness and efficiency of the planning foundation silo structure, so the pilefoundation that planned by consultant of PT. Semen Baturaja can be compared with the piling foundation design altematives in several dimensions piles. Data used in the calculation and analysis of planning the foundation obtained through primary and secondary data. Primary data is data that obtained directly in the implementation of development projects that were documented, while secondary data are specification soil type data in the form of data sondir (S.05 and S.06), data borlog (B.03), the data load of the structure and specification of materials used in construction projects. Analysis and results of the carrying capacity of the pile to the lateral force obtained through the L-pile program, while the axial bearing capacity is controlled again by modeling the SAP 2000 program. The analysis shows the dimensions of the pile that can be used in planning the structure of the silo foundation are circle piling with 50 cm diameter with total 249 piles, 60 cm diameter with total 185piles, square piling with diameter 40 cm with total 357 piles. Among aletmatif election struktrus silo foundation, piling with dimensions diameter 50 cm gives results that are more economical than other pile design, with a ratio of 1.281 safety factor of the load structure.
