Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive media in the introduction of meaningful words. The development of interactive media in word recognition means using a combination of the ADDIE development model and Tessmer evaluation. The ADDIE development model consists of five stages, namely the stage of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phase. In the evaluation phase, formative evaluation proposed by Tessmer consists of stages, namely self evaluation stage, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, small group evaluation. Data collection techniques used interviews, validation sheets, and observations. The results of expert review obtained the average value of the assessment results of interactive media in the introduction of meaningful words by media experts and materials obtained average results of 3.68% (very valid category). Invalid category means that it has been developed with adequate theories according to the curriculum, both in terms of materials that fit the needs of language development of children 5-6 years. And in terms of media judged from the design of the display, the use of fonts, and display on the screen and sound. For the test of the practicality of interactive media viewed from observation when one to one evaluation and small group evaluation obtained the average value of 82.79% very practical category is said to be practical because the developed interactive media can be applied, and easy to use, judged in terms of attractiveness and ease of use . The weakness of this medium is a bit complicated and takes a long time in the process of making the media.
