Abstract

I’TISHOMUL HANIF. Physicochemical Characteristics Of Nanocalcium Bone Meal of Snow Fish (Channa striata) Using Ultrasound – Assisted Solvent Extraction Method In Different Times (Supervised by Herpandi). This study aimed to determine the physicochemical characterization of snakehead fish bone meal nanocalcium with time differences using the Ultrasound-Assisted Solvent Extraction method. The study was conducted in a laboratory experimental manner using the non-factorial Group Randomized Design (RAK) method of 1 treatment 3 (20, 40, and 60 minutes) levels and 2 repeats. These treatment parameters include particle size, white degree, moisture content, ash content, calcium and phosphorus levels, solubility, and functional groups by the FTIR method. The data analysis used was Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at a significance level of 0.05 followed by BNT (Smallest Real Difference) Further Test if there was a real influence, while particle size and functional groups were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the smallest particle size was produced by 40 minutes. In the analysis of white degrees, the length of time has a real effect with values ranging from 79.89%-88.23%. The parameters of water content and yield show that the length of time has no real effect with moisture content values ranging from 0.23-0.71% and yield values ranging from 16.03-19.99%. While ash content and solubility have a real effect on each length of time, with ash content values ranging from 98.09-99.04% and solubility values ranging from 5.34-6.49%. Calcium levels obtained from this study ranged from 20.5-20.85% and phosphorus levels ranged from 0.14-0.19%. Analysis of nanocalcium functional groups of snakehead fish bone meal showed the presence of phosphating groups (PO43-), hydroxyl groups (OH-), and carbonate groups (CO32-). In this study, hydroxyapatite compounds (HAp) were formed with apatite carbonate type A (AKA) and type B (AKB). Keywords: Nanocalcium, fish bone, ultrasound, duration
