Abstract

This study to prove the effect of online shopping discounts on consumer Behavior of students of the Economics Education Study Program, Teaching and Education Faculty, Sriwijaya University. The research uses causality associative methods by using questionnaire data collection and interviews. Instrument validation uses the Product Moment Correlation formula and reliability testing uses the Alpha Cronbarch formula. The population in this study were 24 students of the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Teaching and Education, Sriwijaya University. Data analysis techniques for online shopping discounts were obtained from questionnaires and interviews, and analysis of consumer Behavior data was also obtained from questionnaires and interviews. The results of the interviews will be carried out by Reducing data and drawing conclusions while the results of the questionnaire will be carried out by testing the hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of online shopping discounts on consumer Behavior of Economic Education students at the Teaching and Education Faculty, Sriwijaya University. Based on the results of the researchers conducting data analysis, it can be concluded that there is an effect of discounted prices on consumer Behavior of students of the Economics Education Study Program, Teaching and Education Faculty, Sriwijaya University. With the average number of discount percentages and consumer Behavior, most of them are in the good category, and with the respective indicator numbers, most are 75.57%.
