Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the relationship between Self-Efficacy and student learning outcomes in economics subjects at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. The research was carried out on March 15 2023 – April 20 2023. The population in this study were all students at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang consisting of 6 classes with a total of 249 students. The sampling technique in this study used the probability sampling technique with the cluster random sampling technique. So the sample in this study were students of class XI IIS 1, totaling 41 students. The instruments used in data collection are questionnaires and documentation. The distributed questionnaire consisted of 21 statement items. Documentation is used to retrieve data on student learning outcomes. This research is a correlation research with a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used is pearson product moment correlation. From this research, after analyzing the data, the results show that the correlation coefficient (r_count) is 0.289, this indicates that Self-Efficacy with student learning outcomes in economics subjects at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang has a correlation in the low category. From testing the hypothesis obtained t_count (2.146) ≥ t_table (1.6848) then H_a is accepted and H_0 is rejected, which means there is a relationship between Self-Efficacy and the results of studying economics in class XI at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang.
