Abstract

he Indonesian government has been making efforts to adopt the use of information technology to improve facilities and infrastructure in the fields of science and information technology, both at the central and local government levels. The way users respond to new technology will affect how optimally the technology is utilized and will impact the overall performance of the organization. Therefore, user readiness is crucial in adopting new technology. This study aims to analyze the influence of user readiness on the acceptance of the E-Office Ogan Ilir application in the Ogan Ilir Regency Government, using the Technology Readiness and Acceptance Model (TRAM) method. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 civil servants who were verified as users of the application. The data was then analyzed using PLS-SEM techniques with SmartPLS software. The results showed that out of the 11 hypotheses proposed, only one was rejected. Optimism and innovativeness were factors that encouraged users to accept and use the application, while discomfort and insecurity were inhibiting factors in the acceptance and use of the E-Office Ogan Ilir application.
