Abstract
Sumatra has a high level of tectonic activity, located on the edge of the continental plate that is affected by the subduction of the Indo-Australian Plate to the Eurasian Plate. Renah Gajah Mati I Village, Seluma Regency - Bengkulu, is located in a forearc basin affected by tectonic activity. Study of lineament patterns has been carried out and correlated with field data. The method used is a qualitative analysis of linearity patterns based on the Digital Elevation Model and field observations. The purpose of this study is to correlate the results of the analysis of lineament patterns with the results of field observations. From the DEM data analysis, it is known that the direction of the lineament is generally northwest-southeast, which is also evidenced by the presence of structures such as folds and faults with a similar orientation. The geological structures are Empangan and Napalan Anticlines, Napalan Synclines, and Empangan Faults. Based on the results of the analysis of the straightness pattern and the structure found is relatively the same, caused by the compression force acting in the NE-SW. Keywords : Tectonic, Structure, Lineament.
