Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Brunner’s theory on the ability to calculate addition operations in group B children at RA Ummatan Wahidah. This study uses a quantitative research approach with a pre-experimental research type with the One Shot case study design. The sampling technique uses a purposive sample, namely class B6, which consists of 20 students. This class contains various children’s abilities in arithmetic abilities, such as the presence of children who have less, moderate, and good abilities so that they are considered capable of representing the population. Data collection techniques using tests and observations. Data analysis techniques using the normality test and T-test. The results of data analysis using the T-test obtained tcount value of 11.2 and in the t distribution table with a significance of 0.05 and degrees of freedom (dk) 19 so that a table value of 1.73 was obtained. Then the value of tcount 11.2 ≥ ttable 1.73 from the results of the calculation stated that H0 was rejected “There is no effect of Brunner’s theory on the Ability to Count Addition Operations in Group B Children at RA Ummatan Wahidah” and Ha accepted “There is an influence of Brunner’s theory on the Ability to Count Addition Operations in Group B Children at RA Ummatan Wahidah”.
