Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the level of student motivation in class XI SMA Negeri 6 Prabumulih which indicates academic burnout. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The population in this study were 263 students of class XI and the sample used was 40 students who indicated academic burnout using purposive sampling technique. The data in this study were collected using a learning motivasion questionnaire with a Likert scale type through the Google form. The data analysis technique in this study uses the percentage formula. Based on the results of data analysis regarding the level of learning motivation of class XI students which indicated academic burnout in 40 research samples, information was obtained that as many as 23% (9 students) had a high level of learning motivation, 57% (23 students) had a moderate level of learning motivation, and 20% (8 students) have a low level of learning motivation. Then the results of the data analysis in this study can be concluded that the level of learning motivation of class XI students of SMA Negeri 6 Prabumulih which indicates academic burnout tends to be in the medium category.
