Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the Supi beach tourism area on driving community economic growth as well as the institutional aspects of village supi beach management sungai pinang I. The data used is primary obtained directly from the village community. The analytical method used is quantitative descriptive analysis and cross tabulation analysis (Crosstab) and Chi-square test. The results showed that Village Sungai Pinang I became a new growth pole for the surrounding area. the economic structure in the village changed and shifted from the agricultural sector to the service sector. This can be seen from the calculated chi square value which is greater than the chi square table. The management system for the deserted beach area in Sungai Pinang I Village is still somewhat chaotic because there is still a lot of land around Supi Beach which is still owned by individuals (thuggery). The Supi beach area has a positive and significant influence on the livelihoods, income, expenditure and accessibility of the people in Sungai Pinang I Village.
