Abstract

The performance of corporate social responsibility is the result of activities that have been obtained after carrying out activities in an effort to achieve the goals that have been set. Corporate social responsibility activities can make companies show their level of concern for the surrounding community which of course makes a positive contribution to the community and the surrounding environment. The community certainly needs this socially responsible activity to improve the welfare of the local community. The purposes of this search were (1) Measuring the performance of social responsibility carried out by companies in Gasing Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency, (2) Measuring the level of community welfare in Gasing Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency, and (3) Analyzing the relationship between responsibility performance social enterprise towards the welfare of the people in Gasing Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency. The time of the research was carried out in April 2023. The data collection method used the survey method by conducting interviews and questionnaires with 30 people as respondents. The types of data used in this research were primary data and secondary data. The data processing method for answering the first objective uses the Likert scale method, then to answer the second objective using the Likert scale method and to answer the third objective using the Rank Spearman correlation test. The results obtained from the research are as follows (1) The performance of the Gasing Village's corporate social responsibility has gone well and created positive results for the community, (2) The welfare level of the Gasing Village community was in the prosperous criteria, (3) There was no significant relationship between the performance of corporate social responsibility on the welfare of the people of Gasing Village with the criteria of very weak and positive correlation.
