Abstract

This rescarch is entuled "Management of Social Media Office of Housing and Settlement Areas of South Sumatra Province on Instagram (a disperkim sumsel" This study aims to find out how Instagram social media is managed at the Housing and Settlement Area Office of South Sumatra Province m uploading their information content This rype of research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach with data sourced from in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The theory used i in thns rescarch is the process of managing social media according to Regina Luttrell, namely research, objectives, strategy, tactics, implementation, report and evaluation or known as the ROSTIR concept. The results of this study indicate that primary research uses observation and interviews, secondary research uses data analysis, and SWOT analysis on Instagram social media. The goals set are achievable and timed The strategy used defines Instagram as a specific channel and uses key messages. The tactic is carried out by working with parties outside of Disperkim and relymg on andience iblvement then in the implementation of compiling inforniation to be uploaded in accordance with the agreement of the team then in reports and evaluations supervising uploads and evaluating the results of these uploads. The Instagram social media management team implements the ROSTIR concept even though there are deficiencies, but uploading information on Instagram is routine in uploading Based on the research it can be concluded that the South Sumatra Disperkim Social Media Management which is managed by UPTD PIP 2B Disperkim has implemented the concept of social media management so that the functions and objectives of Instagram social media have been achieved and are running well Keywords: Disperkim, Management, Social Media, and Instagram
