Abstract

This study aims to (1) identify the needs of learning media according to class X students of SMKN 2 Palembang and Indonesian language teachers in learning to write poetry texts, (2) produce a zoom meeting media design in learning to write poetry texts in class X students of SMKN 2 Palembang, (3) obtain validation results on zoom meeting media in learning to write poetry texts in class X SMKN 2 Palembang. This research method uses the Alessi and Trollip development models. The steps of the Alessi and Trollip development model consist of Planning (planning stage), Design (design stage), Development (development stage). The development of learning media was designed based on the results of the analysis of the needs of class X students at SMKN 2 Palembang. The development of writing instructional media has gone through a validation test by three experts which include material experts, language experts, and media experts. Based on the results of the validation of the three experts, the following values were obtained. Media validation scored 48 out of a total of 60 with an average score of 4.00, material validation scored 21 out of a total of 40 with an average score of 2.6, and language validation scored 39 out of a total of 50 with an average score of 3.9. based on the results of this study, as a whole the media gets an average score of 3.5 with a conversion value of C which is categorized as "Quite Valid".
