Abstract

Inequality between regions has become one of the national development agendas in the last few decades. Many factors drive inequality between regions. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of HDI, PMA, PMDN and Capital Expenditure on development inequality between districts/cities in East Kalimantan Province. The data used in this research is panel data. The analysis technique used is panel data regression with the fixed effect model method. The results of the study show that development inequality between districts/cities in East Kalimantan Province is included in the high category, and HDI, Foreign Invesment and Domestic Invesment have a significant effect on development inequality, while capital expenditure has no significant effect on development inequality.
