Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the number of children under five, working hours, and work experience on the income of women workers who weave nipah leaves in Palembang City. The data used in this study were primary data obtained through the process of interviews, observation, and documentation with the number of samples used as many as 45 respondents of female workers who worked as nipah leaf weaving craftsmen in Kelurahan 3-4 Ulu Kota Palembang. Sampling in this study used quota sampling with multiple linear regression analysis model. The results of this study showed that the number of children under five and work experience did not significantly affect the income of women workers who woven nipah leaves in Palembang City. Working hours have a positive and significant effect on the income of women nipah leaf weaving craftsmen in Palembang City.
