Abstract

This aims of the research is to design and implement a semiautomatic coconut holding device on an android-based MP03 coconut grate machine, knowing how long it takes for a coconut holder on an MP03 coconut grate machine to grate one coconut. DC 775 motor and servo motor as driving components in coconut restraint and nodemcu esp8266 as microcontroller and also android as control system or remote control on restraint device. The research used three coconuts divided in half so that they became six parts. The results of the research showed that the coconut retainer was able to make coconut meat shredded by a machine, from a total of 6 times testing the average time needed to grate half a coconut was 1 minute 23 seconds and 2 minutes 46 seconds the time needed for one coconut
