Abstract
The focus of this research is to design a prototype of a charity box security system using fingerprints. Along with the increase in criminal acts in charity boxes, one of which is theft and burglary. The author's idea is to build or design an additional security system with a Fingerprint as input to a charity box that acts as access to open a charity box. In this research, the safe security system also uses Arduino UNO R3 as programming software and NodeMCU ESP8266 as a link to Telegram. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, to access the charity box, only fingerprints that have been registered by placing them on top of the fingerprints will read and send messages that match or do not match the fingerprints used, marked with a Buzzer that does not sound, meaning that the fingerprints match and if it rings then the fingerprint does not match.
