Abstract

E-wallets have been used for various payment needs. The most widely used e�wallet is used as a payment method in e-commerce. One of them is GoPay. GoPay is one of the official payment methods at Tokopedia which is used for online shopping. GoPay occupies the first position as the most frequently used e-wallet by the public. However, based on the identification made on the Tokopedia review page on the Google Play Store, several complaints and problems were found by users. Among them, users find it difficult and even lose their GoPay balance when transacting at Tokopedia and customer care is also considered unhelpful in solving problems. In addition, the price value factor is considered unfavorable. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the factors of user acceptance and use. The purpose of this study is to apply the UTAUT2 model to the acceptance and use of GoPay at Tokopedia by adding Perceived Credibility and Perceived Self-efficacy to Sriwijaya University students. This research involved 209 respondents from Sriwijaya University students who had transacted using GoPay on Tokopedia and analyzed data with SEM-PLS using SmartPLS3. The results of this study indicate that the variables Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Price Value, Facilitating Conditions, Habit, Behavioral Intention and Perceived Self-Efficacy have a positive significant effect. Meanwhile, Social Influence, Hedonic Motivation and Perceived Credibility do not have a significant effect.
