Abstract
One altemative solution for congestion problem in palembang city is the application of dynamic systems signalized intersection for traffic control system. In the context of solving the problem, this study analyze the performance of signalized intersection which has planned implementation of dynamic intersection and analyzed the feasibility of the intersection. From the analysis the dynamic cycle time at intersection Kapten Arivai showed 44 seconds with green time 8 seconds, intersection Veteran’s showed 43 seconds with green time 6 second, intersection Jendral Sudirman showed 38 seconds with green time 8 seconds, Sudirman direction on cinde showed 40 seconds with green time 8 seconds. The highest capacity of the intersection Sudirman Polda showed 1381 pcu/hour and the lowest showed 875 pcu/hour, the highest value of the degree of saturation intersection Jendral Sudirman showed 0.419 and the lowest Kapten Arivai 0.395, the highest queue of the intersection Sudirman cinde direction showed 10 meters with the number of stops the vehicle (NSV) 443.04 pcu/hour and the lowest showed intersection Veteran showed 7 feet with the number of stops vehicle (NSV) 286.74 pcu/hour. And for the intersection delay with an average of 24.180 sec / smp. Thorough analysis of the results shows that the intersection of Charitas’s Street has been necessary to apply a dynamic j unction system.
