Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the description of students' creative thinking skills in learning the material of prism volume using mind mapping method in class VUI. The research subjects are students of SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan class Vlll.2 which amounts to 29 students. Data collection techniques in this research is using test and interview. The test given in the essay consists of four questions, and the interview used is semistructured interview that is aimed to find problems more openly. Based on the result of the research, the students' creative thinking skills in learning the material of prism volume using mind mapping method are 4 students are creative enough, 4 students are less creative, and 21 students are very less creative.
