Abstract

Islamic boarding schools as traditional Islamic educational institutions with the majority of students having dormitory or mukim status, it is urgently needed an effective and efficient information system to be able to monitor students in a timely, accurate, and accessible manner from anywhere and at any time to make it easier for Islamic boarding schools to provide related information. monitoring students to guardians of students so they don't have to worry and easily monitor their children's activities while at the Islamic boarding school. This study aims to implement a website-based monitoring information system for students at Islamic boarding schools at Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic boarding school using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) system development method, then analyze the system that will be produced using the PIECES (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service), and tested it with the Blackbox Testing method. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) development method was chosen because it allows for fast and flexible system development through an iterative process. In the RAD method, developers and Islamic boarding schools can collaborate actively to identify needs, design and implement systems in a more responsive manner. In addition, analysis using the PIECES method will provide in�depth insight into overall system performance, and blackbox testing will ensure that the system operates properly according to user needs. So the results of this study are the implementation of an efficient, accurate and responsive student monitoring information system, as well as providing benefits for the Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic boarding school in the process of monitoring students. This research can also provide guidance for other educational institutions in adopting appropriate development methods and implementing effective testing to improve the quality of their information systems.
