Abstract

Projek akhir ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membuat aplikasi website layanan pengajuan Surat Tugas. Pada Sistem Infromasi tersebut proses pembuatan surat tugas masih secara manual tentunya merepotkan Admin Prodi. Terutama saat beban kerja Admin Prodi sedang tinggi menyebabkan kemungkinan human error terjadi. Sistem Informasi Surat Tugas Berbasis Web merupakan solusi dari permasalahan ini. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka,sedangkan dalam perancangan sistem penulis menggunakan metode Waterfall, pembuatan rancangan desain menggunakan Unified Modeling Languange (UML) dan untuk membangun perangkat lunak menggunakan PHP dan MySQL sebagai databasenya. Hasil penelitian yang diinginkan dari pembangunan sistem informasi ini adalah mempermudah admin dalam menangani surat tugas dosen Sistem Informasi Universitas Sriwijaya Palembang.
