Abstract
This study aims to describe the implementation of the fine motor portfolio assessment of children aged 4-6 years by the kindergarten teacher Basoka Palembang. Implementation of portfolio assessment consists of 3 stages: the preparation stage, implementation phase, and assessment phase. The object of the study is the implementation of portfolio assessment of children aged 5-6 years by the kindergarten teacher Basoka Palembang. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Description of research data using 3 that is, observation, interview same documentation. Types of portfolio in Tk Basoka include portfolio shaped softmap and showcase. Assessment also includes daily assessments, weekly assessments, monthly assessments and assessment of child development outcomes of learners. In the process of observation and recording of observational research in which the researcher asked the principal of the mother of Septarini Dwi about all the assessment of children in school one of them is the child portfolio assessment. The portfolio assessment in Tk Basoka includes children's cover, child's name, teacher's name, table of contents, children's work, teacher's notes, parent records, and assessment sheets. Which is found on the portfolio assessment sheet in Tk Basoka that is, cover, child's name, children's work, assessment. What is missing from the portfolio assessment sheet in Tk Basoka is the teacher's name, table of contents, teacher's notes, parent records, all attached to daily, weekly, and monthly appraisals. Researcher and teacher of KKAS Basoka Palembang interviews about the stages of the portfolio assessment process based on the portfolio assessment stage consisting of the preparation stage, implementation phase, and assessment phase. Documentation is done to obtain data as a complement of data from observation and interview methods. Documentation data sources include photos of children, teacher's name, portfolio type, children's work, daily assessment, weekly assessment, monthly assessment, on learning process in Group B at TK Basoka Palembang. The collected data was analyzed quantitatively using descriptive analysis model.
