Abstract

Perkembangan sektor industri otomotif kendaraan bermotor roda dua diIndonesia semakin pesat dari banyaknya populasi kendaraan bermotor roda duayang beredar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kondisi struktur pasarindustri otomotif kendaraan bermotor roda dua di Indonesia, serta melihatpangsa pasar penjualan kendaraan bermotor roda dua. Metode yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah Market Share untuk menghitung pangsa pasar danHerfindahl-Hirchman Index (HH1) untuk melihat kondisi struktur pasar. Datayang digunakan adalah data time series dari tahun 2010-2021 dengan sumberdata berasal dari direktori otomotif kendaraan bermotor roda dua di Indonesiadan laporan dari tahun 2010 sampai dengan tahun 2021. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa kondisi struktur pasar industri otomotif kendaraanbermotor roda dua di Indonesia berada pada kondisi pasar Oligopoli denganHonda dan Yamaha sebagai penguasa pangsa pasar, sehingga sangat diperlukanpembenahan supaya industri ini menjadi lebih kompetitif. Kata Kunci: Industri Otomotif, Kendaraan Bermotor Roda Dua, Struktur Pasar,Pangsa Pasar, Herfindahl-Hirchman Index (HHI).
