Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and risk tolerance on investment decisions with financial behavior as a mediator. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample in this research was investors domiciled in South Sumatra using the Slovin formula with a total of 400 respondents. The research data source is primary data by distributing questionnaires online and offline. The data analysis method in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the SmartPLS application. The results of this research show that financial literacy has a significant negative effect on investment decisions, risk tolerance has a significant positive effect on investment decisions and financial behavior has a significant positive effect on investment decisions. Apart from that, financial literacy has a significant positive effect on investment decisions mediated by financial behavior and risk tolerance has a significant positive effect on investment decisions mediated by financial behavior
