Abstract

Electricity is one of the most important needs of society and as the most important economic resource needed in a household to industrial activities. The use of electricity is an important factor in people's lives, both in the household sector, lighting, communications, industry and so on. This study aims to determine the value of the peak voltage, front time and tail time on impulse waves. To find out how the equivalent circuit of the human body system uses the Analysis Transient Program/Electromagnetic Transient Program (ATP/EMTP) application. This study uses the library method in collecting data, in calculating data using ATP Software. The results of this study indicate that the impulse waves obtained from the RC Impulse Generator circuit with a peak voltage obtained of 6.3 kV
