Abstract

This thesis entitled Public Relation Function of PT PLN (Persero) Sumatera Selatan Jambi and Bengkulu Region (WS2JB) in managing public opinion on the printed media year 2017. This study aims to determine the public relations function of PT PLN (Persero) WS2JB in managing public opnion on the printed media 2017. this research is a qualitative descriptive research to describe the Public Relation and Law devision. The data which is used in the form are primary data and secondary data, obtained through of observation, interviews, and documentation. this study was analyzed using the theory of public relations function according to onong uchjana effendy. The result showed that the public relation function of PT PLN(Persero) WS2JB in managing public opinion on the printed media is running well. In the implementation of public opinion management, Public Relation of PT PLN(Persero) WS2JB has implemented various of public relations functions which is suitable to theory , the problem identify on the printed media are running well by public relations in (Persero) WS2JB, followed by planning which is conducted by public relations in accordancw to the collected data further more to determine the audience target along with the purpose of the plan
