Abstract

This research is based on the problem of increasing violation of residence permit visit by foreigners in some Regencies/Cities of Southern Sumatera Province. Efforts are required from various authorities to resolve the issue of violation residence permit. One attempt to prevent the violation of stay permit is conducted by the lmmigration Office Class 1 Palembang bv conducting immigration surveillance activities on foreigners who hold the residence permit visits. The purpose of this research is to find out how the management of Immigration Control Implementation of Foreigner holders of stay visit by the Immigration Office Class 1 Palembang. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach, where this research analyze and describe the reality. This research was analyzed using 4 (four) management functions by George R Terry which includes Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling. The data used in form of primary data and secondary data obtained from interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research shows that the management in the supervision of foreigners who hold the stay permit is not yet fully implemented. This is because the management function in the implementation of foreign supervision of the resident permit holder has not been fully implemented, especially the function of organizing and actuating function.
