Abstract

The issue of mental disorders has begun to be raised in recent years. Mental disorders can be suffered by anyone from young people to the elderly. Not a few workers in Indonesia experience what is usually called work stres. Work stres can have various negative impacts on workers, for example affecting physical health, allowing work accidents to occur, and affecting various aspects of work. Workers will lose motivation to work, work will not be done optimally, performance, worker productivity and work performance will be affected. Work performance can be one of the company's assessments of its HR (human resources). This shows that work performance is very important for the quality of human resources. This research was conducted using the SLR (systematic literature review) method because there are still very few articles discussing this topic in the form of SLR (systematic literature review). This research aims to collect and analyze various journal articles as existing secondary data so that a conclusion can be obtained from the research results. This SLR research uses the PRISMA method or preferred reporting items for systematic review and meta analysis. There are five sites used in this literature search, namely Google Scholar, DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), Garuda (Digital Reference Gallery), PubMed, and Science Direct. The results of the research were that five out of eleven journals stated that work stres had a significant and positive effect. Two others stated that work stres had a significant negative effect. The other four stated that there was no relationship between the two variables. The conclusion of this research is that work stres can have both good and bad effects depending on the stage of stres experienced and how a person controls this stres.
