Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of lof giving liquid organic fertilizer durian pell (Durio zibethinus L.) and NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of native potato plants (Plectranthus rotundifolius Poir.). This research was carried out from June to September 2023 on land located in Sukarami Jaya Village, Sumber Harta District, Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 7 treatments consisting of 3 groups, and each group consisted of 3 replications, so that the total number of polybags on plants used was 63 treatment units. The treatments in this study were as follows, A = no treatment, B = 7.5 grams of NPK fertilizer and 5% (LOF) of durian peel, C = 10 grams of NPK fertilizer and 5% (LOF) of durian peel, D = 12.5 grams of NPK fertilizer and 5 % (LOF) of durian peel, E = 7.5 grams of NPK fertilizer and 10% (LOF) of durian peel, F = 10 grams of NPK fertilizer and 10% (LOF) of durian peel, and G = 12.5 grams of NPK fertilizer and 10% (LOF) of durian peel. The observation results were analyzed using variance and continued with the 5% BNT test. The parameters observed consisted of plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, level of greenness of leaves, flowering age, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, tuber weight per plant, tuber diameter, number of tubers per plant, tuber volume. The results showed that 10 grams of NPK fertilizer and 5% liquid organic fertilizer durian peel, (C) produced the best treatment.
