Abstract

South Sumatra Light Rail Transit Management Center is one of the public service managers in the field of railways in South Sumatra. The South Sumatra Light Rail Transit Management Center often conducts official trips using official cars both in the city and out of town. However, there is no official car loan information system, so it's demanding to control official car loan data collection. Data collection is still manual, causing frequent errors in data collection and loss of data because it is unfounded in the database. Manual recording might cause human error due to employee negligence or other things that can cause discrepancies between incoming data and actual facts that occur in the field. The official vehicle loan information system will be advantageous in processing of data collection, search, and data storage. The User Centered Design method involves end-users by validating the user against the system to be obliged. This method is convenient for users to understand the design of the information system to be developed. Keywords: information system design, user centered design, loan of official vehicles
