Abstract

The research aims to determine the cultivation of disciplined character education in student in the SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung dormitory. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The sampling technique used in this research was a purposive sampling technique with 5 informants. The data collection technique used was documentation, interview, and observation technique. From the result of this research, it was found that the cultivation of disiplined character education in studend at SMA Negeri 3 boarding school Kayuagung found that (1) The average percentage of student level of discipline at the SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung boarding school 98% which ini included in the very good category which is reviewed from 4 aspects of Disciplinary Character, Namely Time Discipline, Discipline in Enforcing Rules, Attitude Discipline, and Worship Discipline. (2) The character that needs to be optimized is the charater of Attitudinal Discipline, one of wich is the attitude of not distrubing other people. (3) And base on the 3 aspects of the programs at the school, Namely the Academic Program, Boarding Program, and Extracurricular Program, it has gone well in instilling dicplined charactereducation to student at the SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung Boarding School.
