Abstract
The development of word card interactive media to train the beginning reading skills of class 2 students in subtheme 3 of SD Negeri 05 Indralaya aims to describe the development of word card interactive media, the level of attractiveness and validity of the media product being developed. This research uses R&D (Research and Development) research by applying the ADDIE model, which involves the stages of Analysis, Design, Development and Implementation. The research subjects were 1 teacher and 15 students. The data collection techniques used were interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Validation from media experts with a percentage result of 93% in the very valid category. Validation by material experts with a percentage result of 90.6% in the very valid category and assessment of validation results by the class teacher who obtained a percentage of 96% in the very valid category. The small group trial questionnaire obtained an average score of 91.6%, with a very interesting category. Meanwhile, at the large group trial stage, an average of 97.8% was obtained in the very interesting category. Thus it can be concluded that the word card media product for training the beginning reading skills of grade 2 students is feasible and practical to use in learning. Furthermore, this word card interactive media can be used in subtheme 3 elementary school learning.
