Abstract
This research is a quantitative descriptive study which aims to describe students mathematical representation abilities on SPtLDV material in Merdeka Curriculum learning based on Contextual Teaching Learning. The subjects of this research were class X.6 students at SMA Negeri 1 Lahat. Data collection used in this research was written tests and interviews. The results of the data analysis of written tests and interviews show that 16.67% of students in the high ability category have good visual and symbolic representation abilities and have sufficient verbal representation abilities. Students in the moderate ability category were 52.78% who had sufficient visual and symbolic representation abilities, but had poor verbal representation abilities. Meanwhile, 30.56% of students in the low ability category have poor visual, symbolic and verbal representation abilities. The conclusion of this research is that the mathematical representation ability of class X.6 students at SMA Negeri 1 Lahat is categorized as moderate with an average score of 56.04.
