Abstract

Having an ideal body weight is a dream and desire for everyone. There are many ways to achieve this, such as regular exercise, managing diet, and, importantly, monitoring body conditions using a reliable and efficient measuring tool. Therefore, a device or system has been created that integrates height, weight, and body temperature measurements into one device, working automatically and based on the Internet of Things (IoT). This device uses ESP32 as its microcontroller, and the sensors employed include the JSN-SR04T ultrasonic sensor for measuring height, the HX711 load cell module for weight measurement, and the MLX90614 non-contact infrared sensor for body temperature measurement. The monitoring is done through a 20 x 4 LCD and Blynk. In several experiments of creating and testing this project, the percentage of success in measuring height, weight, and body temperature was quite significant. In the tests, when compared to manual tools, the differences obtained were 0.99% for height measurement, 0.99% for weight measurement, and 0.98% for body temperature.
