Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi peserta didik kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Pre-Experimental Design dalam bentuk One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI 2 yang berjumlah 35 peserta didik dalam sekelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel ialah menggunakan teknik Clustur Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data tes diperoleh dari hasil pretest dan posttest yang diberikan kepada peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation, dan analisis data saat observasi diperoleh dari hasil observasi pada saat menerapkan sintaks model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation. Hipotesis menggunakan statistik parametris dengan menggunakan hasil uji t-test sampel related diperoleh t_(hitung ) > ttabel yaitu 16,757 > 1,995 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan, terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi peserta didik kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. Disarankan agar lebih menguasai dalam mengatur keadaan kelas agar suasana didalam kelas tetap kondusif, sehingga peserta didik yang terlibat dapat mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran dengan baik dan tujuan dari kegiatan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya, disarankan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lebih dari 2 instrumen penelitian. Kata-Kata Kunci : Group Investigation, Hasil Belajar
