Abstract

This research aims to determine The Impact of Compensation and Working Environment on Employee Performance at PT PLN (Persero) Bukit Asam Power Plant Implementing Unit South Sumatera Power Unit. This research design is causal research because it aims to determine the cause and effect between two variables, namely the independent variable compensation and work environment and one dependent variable, namely employee performance at PT PLN (Persero) Bukit Asam Power Plant Implementing Unit South Sumatera Power Unit. This research uses Multiple Linear Regression Data Analysis Techniques. The population in this study were 120 employees of the PT PLN (Persero) Bukit Asam Power Plant Implementing Unit South Sumatera Power Unit and the sampling method used in this research was the saturated sampling method. The data collection method that the author uses in this research is by using a questionnaire which is carried out using Google Form. The research results show that compensation and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT PLN (Persero) Bukit Asam Power Plant Implementing Unit South Sumatera Power Unit. Furthermore, between the two independent variables in this research, the variable that has the dominant influence on the dependent variable employee performance (Y) is the work environment variable (X2) with coefficient value of 0.491 (Positive) and followed by compensation (X1) with coefficient value 0.380 (Positive).
