Abstract

Usually, elasticity practical data collection is still done manually, which results in the data obtained having relatively low accuracy. Not only that, the time required is also long. Therefore, in this research, an elasticity practical tool was developed using the NodeMCU ESP8266 WiFi microcontroller with Spreadsheet Data Recording. The data obtained is then processed to find the spring constant value. The hardware used is a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller, HC-SR04 sensor, and I2C 20x4 LCD. The software used is Arduino IDE and spreadsheet. This designed tool was tested using a 30N/m spring and five load variations with masses of 20gr, 40gr, 60gr, 80gr and 100gr. Based on the elasticity data obtained in the experiment, the practical tool developed has very good accuracy with an accuracy of 94.82%, precision of 98.62%, error of 3.85%, and can transmit data as far as 60 meters. The spring constant value obtained for a load with a mass of 20gr is (21.78), 40gr is (23.06), 60gr is (23.52), 80gr is (23.78), and 100gr is (23.90). Biasanya, pengambilan data praktikum elastisitas masih dilakukan secara manual yang mengakibatkan data yang diperoleh memiliki akurasi yang relatif rendah. Tidak hanya itu, waktu yang dibutuhkan juga lama. Oleh sebab itu, dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengembangan alat praktikum elastisitas menggunakan WiFi mikrokontroller NodeMCU ESP8266 dengan Perekaman Data Spreadsheet. Data yang didapat kemudian diolah untuk mencari nilai konstanta pegas. Perangkat keras yang digunakan adalah mikrokontroller NodeMCU ESP8266, sensor HC-SR04, dan LCD I2C 20x4. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah Arduino IDE dan spreadsheet. Alat yang dirancang ini diuji dengan menggunakan pegas 30N/m dan lima variasi beban bermassa 20gr, 40gr, 60gr, 80gr dan 100gr. Berdasarkan data elastisitas yang didapat pada percobaan, alat praktikum yang dikembangkan memiliki ketelitian yang sangat baik dengan akurasi sebesar 94,82%, presisi sebesar 98,62%, error sebesar 3,85%, dan dapat mengirimkan data sejauh 60 meter. Nilai konstanta pegas yang diperoleh untuk beban bermassa 20gr sebesar (21,78), 40gr sebesar (23,06), 60gr sebesar (23,52), 80gr (23,78), dan 100gr sebesar (23,90).
